Introduction To The Structure And Working Principle Of Petrochemical Lobe Rotary Lobe Pump

The petrochemical rotary lobe pump equipment is mainly composed of motor, coupling and pump body, where the pump body structure is composed of pump casing, pump cover, liner, rotor, mechanical seal, bushing, bearing, synchronous gear, isolation chamber, etc. The driving part of the rotary lobe pump is basically the same as the centrifugal pump, the main difference lies in the difference of the pump body.

Between the gear box and the cavity there is a liquid-filled isolation chamber, it is the synchronous gear and pump cavity isolation, on the one hand, to protect the synchronous gear from fluid damage, the other to prevent the gear box by oil seepage into the transmission medium, the cavity is also equipped with lubricating oil, constantly lubricated rotor and shaft, to protect the shaft from erosion, at the same time, in the process of long-term operation, can ensure that the rotor, such as isolation cavity leakage, the The mechanical seal failure can be judged visually.

The rotor material and form of the rotary lobe pump are based on different materials and rotor types for different overflow media. There is a quick-open pump cover for quick disassembly and replacement of the rotor and the protective liner in the pump cavity for easy maintenance.

The internal structure of the rotary lobe pump, using two spiral lobe rotors driven by synchronous gears that constantly rotate, pushes the conveying medium from the pump inlet to the pump outlet. Due to the hermetic seal between the rotor and the pump body, the pump's import and export chambers are isolated and have vacuum suction, and because of the three-lobe spiral rotor, the instantaneous design flow of the pump is constant at every moment during the rotation week, with almost no pulsation or disturbance. In addition, the rotary lobe pump is symmetrical in structure and reversible in the direction of delivery. Simply by changing the driving direction, positive transfer pumping and reverse rotation can be flushed.
