Sludge lobe pump mechanical seal correct replacement method

The sludge lobe pump consists of quick start pump cover, wear-resistant plate and wear-resistant bushing, wear-resistant geometric rotating cam rotor, integral casting pump casing, etc. The main core of the pump is the twisted lobe rubber cam rotor, which uses two spiral cam rotors driven by synchronous gears that constantly rotate to push the conveying medium from the pump inlet to the pump outlet, and the sludge lobe pump is symmetrical in structure and reversible in conveying direction. Only need to change the driving direction, positive transmission pumping, reversing can be flushed. Then the mechanical seal seal replacement specific operation method is: lobe pump1, remove the sludge lobe pump pump cover end nut, remove the pump cover of the sludge lobe pump.
2. Suspend the two fixed rotors with the sludge lobe pump tool.
3. Remove the two fixed nuts of the rotor chamber and hammer the back sides of the rotor chamber with a brass rod until the rotor chamber can be removed by hand. (If the rotor is not taken off when operating step 3, the lobe pump rotor will also be taken out with the rotor chamber at this time) Note: At this time, you can see that there are adjusting thin shims at the shoulder of the two drive shafts, please do not take them off easily, if you need to take them off, please remember the number of adjusting thin shims at this location so that they can be installed in the original position and number when assembling again.
5. Install the complete O-ring, static ring and wave spring corresponding to the 3 pins to the rotor chamber of the lobe pump.
6. Put the complete dynamic ring combination on the shaft from the shaft end. If the new dynamic ring combination is used, the two screws on the dynamic ring set need to be screwed in the position of the two planes on the shaft, but not tightly nailed to the shaft, so that the dynamic ring set on the shaft can rotate about 5, remember not to make the dynamic ring set 360 rotation. Then drop a small amount of paint or grease in the screw hole to prevent the screw from falling off when the device is working.
7. Install the rotor chamber to the transmission box of the lobe pump and press it to make it fit with the box. (There are two cone pins to locate the rotor chamber and transmission box assembly position). Insert the iron bar into the 2 positioning pin holes, and hammer the 2 positioning pins respectively, so that the rotor chamber position in the original factory position, respectively, lock the 2 rotor chamber fixing nuts back and forth with force. Note: After assembling the rotor chamber, if the adjusting thin pads have been taken off when disassembling the rotor chamber, please put the thin pads on at this time according to the original position and the original quantity.
8. Install the rotor in the rotor chamber, use a copper bar or wooden block to pad between the two rotors, and use a wrench to fix the two rotor nuts.
Note: 1. The lobe pump rotor, rotor fixing nut and drive shaft are numbered on the factory, please put the parts with the same number together when assembling, and you can see the respective number after this step is finished. 2. The upper fixing nut of the normal factory configuration equipment is tightened counterclockwise, and the lower fixing nut is tightened clockwise.
